SUMMARY OF THE DIRECTORATE’S NINE-MONTH REPORT
On October 8, 2025, at the State Institution “Directorate of the Flooding Zone of Rogun HPP,” a meeting was held to summarize the Directorate’s activities over the past nine months.
Employees and representatives of contracting organizations and institutions attended the meeting.
Director Manuchehr Jamilzoda, head of the State Institution “Directorate of the Flooding Zone of Rogun HPP,” opened the meeting, explained the procedure and invited participants to share their views and proposals for improving the work of the Directorate, contractors, suppliers, service providers, and other bodies involved in preparing the Rogun HPP flooding zone.
Regarding the agenda item under consideration, Director Manuchehr Jamilzoda presented the Directorate’s nine-month report.
The speeches primarily addressed the work carried out by the Directorate over the past nine months.
Subsequently, the Director put forward specific proposals and issued instructions to responsible parties to eliminate shortcomings and ensure full implementation of the work plan.
At the conclusion of the summary meeting, participants’ opinions and views were taken into account. In addition, to improve the Directorate’s activities and in accordance with Resolution №47 of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 20, 2009, “On the relocation of the population of the city of Rogun and the Nurabad and Rasht districts from the flooding zone of the Rogun Hydropower Plant”, and in cooperation with the relevant ministries, committees, executive authorities, contracting and supply organizations, as well as design and research institutes, it was decided to ensure the timely implementation of an orderly resettlement process and social and environmental protection measures in the area; to implement the production plan for 2025; to approve the protocol summarizing the activities of the State Institution “Directorate of the Flooding Zone of Rogun HPP”; and to define tasks for the fourth quarter of 2025.
