RESULTS OF ANNUAL ACTIVITIES DIRECTAORATE
On January 10, 2026, a final meeting was held in the hall of the State Institution “Directorate of the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Station Flood Zone” to summarize the results of the Directorate’s annual activities.
The final meeting of the Directorate was attended by Lutfullo Abdullozoda, Chief Specialist of the Infrastructure Development Department of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Manuchehr Jamilzoda, Director of the Flood Zone, Deputy Directors, Department Heads, and representatives of government agencies and contractors.
At the beginning of the meeting, Manuchehr Jamilzoda, Director of the State Institution “Directorate of the Flood Zone of the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant,” opened the meeting, introduced the participants to the meeting procedure, and asked them to share their opinions, suggestions, and comments on improving the activities of the Directorate, contractors, suppliers, and service organizations, as well as other entities involved in the preparation of the flood zone of the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant.
On the issue on the agenda, the Director of the Office, Manuchehr Jamilzoda, presented an annual report, which was reviewed by the participants of the meeting.
The presentations mainly focused on the work carried out by the Office in 2025.
It was also noted that the staff of the Migration and Livelihood Restoration Department of the Agency was instructed to continue the resettlement of the population of the village of Bedikhoy in the rural jamoat of Izatullo Khalimov in the Nurabad district and complete it in full by August 2026.
The Director of the Department then made useful and specific suggestions, and the responsible officials were given clear instructions to eliminate the shortcomings and ensure the unconditional implementation of production plans.
At the same time, the Migration and Livelihood Restoration Department of the Agency, as well as three displaced persons from the village of Bedikhoy in the Izatullo Khalimov rural jamoat of Nurabad district, were awarded letters of appreciation and commemorative gifts by the Agency for their conscientious and fruitful work, timely execution of the Agency’s management’s instructions, and active participation in the preparation of the flood zone of the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant.
At the end of the final annual meeting, the opinions and suggestions of the participants were taken into account, as well as, in accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 47 dated January 20, 2009 “On the resettlement of the population of Rogun city and Nurobad and Rasht districts from the flood zone of the Rogun hydroelectric power plant”, in cooperation with ministries, committees, executive authorities, contractors suppliers and design research institutions, for the purpose of timely and organized resettlement and measures for socio-environmental protection in this zone, as well as the execution of production plans for 2025, the protocol of the results of the activities of the State Institution “Management of the Rogun HPP flood zone” was adopted and tasks for 2026 were defined.
